The New Forest Golf Club Apartments provide luxurious accommodation in Higginstown, County Westmeath. The apartments have free parking and WiFi and the site also includes a high-quality restaurant. Each apartment has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. All have a lounge with TV and a dining area. A fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. All apartments also have a washing machine and tumble dryer. The New Forest Golf Club Apartments are around 1 hour’s drive west of Dublin. The club is around 40km from Athlone, the largest town on the River Shannon which is home to a wide range of shops and restaurants.

New Forest Estate is a beautiful Irish Country Estate with a history dating back almost 1000 years. New Forest House in its current form dates back to the mid 1700's and the Courtyard containing our luxurious lodges was constructed at the same time. New Forest House is situated at the center of the Estate which extends over 300 acres ensuring privacy, peace and relaxation for all our Guests. New Forest House Restaurant is highly regarded as one of the finest Dining locations in the Irish Midlands. New Forest Golf Course on the Estate is a Championship Course and one of Ireland's Premier Golf Courses. The Estate is family owned resulting in a much more personal touch and you will be looked after by people with a genuine interest in making sure you have a wonderful time.

Stay at New Forest Estate and enjoy the peace and quiet of an historical Irish Estate while being able to explore the beautiful Irish Midlands with the many lakes and waterways along with popular tourist attractions such as Fore Abbey which is an ancient monastery and also Belvedere House. The Strokestown House & Famine Museum is also worth a visit. Besides the great ruins and museums you will find gardens and parks throughout the area. These are perfect for walking and hiking. Some of the best fishing in Ireland can be had within minutes of New Forest including Lough Ree, Ennell, Owel, Lene, Mount Dalton, and Glore Lake just to mention a few. So why not combine a Golf and Fishing break. Horse Riding, Boating, Kayaking and Shooting are just some other activities available.
