Our family have been in the holiday rental business in Rossnowlagh for over 50 years, so as you can imagine in this time we have not only met guests from all over the world but have seen the purposes of their visits to the area develop over this time. While the old reliable promise of spending a few sunny days lazing on the beach or splashing in the waves is as true today as always, there has also been a big shift to activity based holidays, especially over the last ten or fifteen years. This of course includes all the water based sports which Rossnowlagh has become well-known for, such as surfing, wind-surfing, stand up paddling (SUP), etc, but also more regional activities such as fishing, boating on Lough Erne, trekking, hill walking, golfing and horse riding.
