The Garden Rooms are unique, situated in an enclosed Courtyard on the original Townley Hall Estate which dates from 1799. Surrounded by woodland walks with the Boyne Camino on the doorstep.
Designed by Irish architect Francis Johnston who is responsible for the GPO on O'Connell Street, Dublin and the Chapel Royal at Dublin Castle. Originally built as horse stables and developed over the years as cow barns and milking parlour, they are steeped in history. They have been carefully restored and renovated without compromise and offer luxury elegant accommodation with all modern conveniences while retaining their old world charm. Set in a enclosed courtyard garden designed by Chelsea award winning designers, each garden room has a private outdoor seating and dining area where guests can enjoy the peace and quiet. Each garden room has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare meals, beautiful bathroom with complimentary toiletries, slippers and luxurious beds, Superking size, with pristine white cotton bedlinen to ensure a blissful nights sleep.
Valerie loves to welcome new guests to the garden rooms. She lives onsite and is always available to share local information.

Situated in the Heart of the Boyne Valley with Newgrange prehistoric burial chamber around the corner, Oldbridge House across the River, Historic Town of Drogheda 20 mins away and Slane castle, Trim Castle and The Hill of Tara, this location makes an ideal base to soak up the Culture of Irelands Ancient East. Plenty of Forest walks and The Boyne Camino running along side the property.
The Town of Drogheda is a ten minute drive and offers lots of historic sites, shops and plenty of restaurants, Italian, Lebanese, Indian, Chinese, Thai and of course plenty of good chippers for traditional fish and chips!
