Santa Maria is a Premium boutique homestay in Shanghumugham, a rustic village by the sea. Here you get to experience a way of life that is fast becoming extinct - a laid back, hidden away yet not too far from the bustling city, a world of a pretty little garden, palm trees and hammocks and gorgeous sunsets over the ocean. Ours is a refurbished ancient home rooted in history with generations of stories to tell.
.We have the rooms in different range yet all rooms has the same standards however the size of the room, occupancy and the view is the main difference. The ocean view rooms sole downside of it is a 2 floor climb, but once there, you are transported to another world, a world of the ocean, a horizon lined with palm trees, and the most gorgeous sunsets.
These rooms have huge ocean view balconies, with comfortable balcony chairs, indoor plants that purify the air and an infinite view of the ocean. It's a space you can just sit, doing nothing, a world by itself that you can get lost in for days on end. We are immensely proud of the work we have done here.
We are an young couple stay onsite in the ground floor and the passionate culinary artists, we have re- created our grandmothers favorite recipes in our menu and we have in house chefs under our supervision and we also cook for our guests with a lot of passion and love. We have awarded numerous times for the hospitality and the cooking including Asia's Best Awards in 2022!
Guest can avail us for any sort of suggestions, planning their travel itinerary, exploring the city, or trails or plan their cooking lessons and many more .
