Dear Guest,
Please take a minute and read about us.
KinVatika isn't just a homestay; it's our family home built in 1993. Nestled amidst the majestic Kinner Kailash mountains, we're surrounded by lush green meadows and vibrant farmlands. Here, you'll experience the simple charm of Himalayan life with our family – my wife, our children, and my parents. We believe in working together, and you'll see us all pitching in to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We live amidst an apple orchard and other plantations; except for some insects, if doors are left open, we are used to having them and can happily catch them for you and take them out along with us... :)
Also living with us is a cow with her newborn (yes, the milk is fresh and only for guests and family), and 2 sheep (my mom loves to knit)...
We cook traditional Himalayan Food, and happy to cook for you too. You can experience sitting down and having a hot meal with us or however, you love it.
A little about our rooms:
The older rooms feature low wooden ceilings that keep the home warm during cold winters along with classic Himalayan furniture...
Has carpeted flooring again due to weather and hence we request everyone to remove shoes outside.
We can clean the room for us, every day if you require us to; but usually, we do it on alternate days...
Additionally, we have 2 modern rooms; please have a look at the pictures as you make your choice...
Ensuring a comfortable stay, a warm bed, hot food and catering to our guests' needs are our language of love and hospitality. We may not know it all however happy to do something for you if you let us know...
So this is about our home and we would love to have you over.
