Hi, I'm Tarana — once an analyst in the city, now a homestay host in the hills!
After 8 years of corporate life, I returned to my hometown during the pandemic and found what I’d truly been missing — peace, purpose, and connection with nature.
I refurbished my 100-year-old ancestral home and built Nirvana Homes Rarta — a cosy, soulful escape in the Himalayas, perfect for those looking to slow down and truly experience the mountains.
What I love most about hosting is meeting people from all walks of life. I enjoy long conversations, hearing your travel stories, and curating little details to make your stay feel like home — whether it’s planning a forest walk, a bonfire under the stars, or serving you fresh fruit from our orchards.
When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me experimenting with food, journaling, or planning my next travel adventure

A 100-Year-Old Heritage Stay in the Heart of the Himalayas
Tucked away in an untouched Himalayan village, Nirvana Homes Rarta is a century-old traditional Himachali home lovingly restored with care and character.
Surrounded by apple orchards, pine forests, and panoramic mountain views, it’s designed for those who seek more than just a vacation.
From carved wooden ceilings and French windows to cozy reading nooks and sunny balconies, every corner of Nirvana invites you to slow down.
Guests can enjoy lawn-side breakfasts, starry nights on the terrace, forest walks, or local herbal teas by the bonfire.
What makes Nirvana truly special is the warmth of hosting—I welcome every guest like an old friend. Whether you're here for solitude, creativity, connection, or healing, Nirvana offers you not just a place to stay—but a place to belong.
