There is a microwave, a one-pot electric stove, a sandwich and a cordless kettle. We offer hott-pottur to tired guests after their journey, where they can relax and have a nice time. In the center of Keflavik there are various museums such as the Rock and Roll Museum, Viking World, Duus Museum,
Slökkviliðsminjasafn Íslands Icelandic fire museum and others. About 20 minutes away by car you can visit the Blue Lagoon. The capital of Reykjavik has spectacular sites such as Hallgrimskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall and the Perlan Interactive Museum. It's also a great place to experience nature, with whale and puffin watching tours in Faxafloi Bay and many nature reserves such as Seltjarnarnes and Heidmork. Most notable is the Golden Circle, a scenic route that can easily be completed in one day. Along this route you will discover a UNESCO World Heritage Site between two tectonic plates called Thingvellir National Park, the exploding hot springs of the Geysir geothermal area, and the breathtaking the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall. Longer tours also feature lesser-known but equally beautiful attractions such as Kerid Crater Lake.
The south coast tour is also easy to discover from Reykjavik. It will take you to the world-famous Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, and impressive volcanoes such as Eyjafjallajokull, which erupted in 2010. Further along the south coast there are more amazing attractions such as Skaftafell Nature Reserve and Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. Although ambitious travelers can reach these destinations from Reykjavik in a day, they are better explored by spending a few nights in the countryside or on a unique ring road trip.
Road number 1 circles Iceland and provides a dream vacation for those who want to admire Iceland's diverse nature. This trip allows you to explore the magical Eastfjords, the geothermal wonders of Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland, and countless other attractions. Most notable among Iceland's attractions are incredible waterfalls, bubbling hot springs, glistening ice caps, spectacular fjords, and lunar lava landscapes.
