Our team, Laura, Focusing Trainer.....Sarah, ayurvedic therapist and life coach,......Matt, photographer, marketing farmer, you will find us all or at least Sarah and Matt to greet you and show you around, make you breakfast and give you as much info about the area as they can, we all take an active part on the farm doing every thing that is necessary at any given time of the year so we are happy if anyone would like to take part in our activities. The project has been on going for about 10 years and has now taken on a slightly different course becoming an agriturismo but we want to keep all of the same values going strong, we have 4 properties, the main big house with rooms and apartments a smaller self contained house and another self contained villa. Our latest project was three rooms in one building made totally with hemp and powered by the sun. We have a beautiful studio suitable for yoga and group functions and a swimming salt pool. We look forward to welcoming you on our path and hope that you are interested in nature and protecting our amazing world.

Agriturismo Poggio Monte is a beautiful Eco retreat on top of a high hill surrounded by surreal views, coast on two sides with valleys and mountains, immersed in uncontaminated wild nature on an organic eco friendly farm set in 160 acres. The property has been restored respecting its antique 1700 charm using eco building tech and is fully self sufficient with eco friendly heating and services, even though the house is very old it has a light modern feel. Poggio started as a project that we would like to take forward promoting personal growth , spirituality, love and respect for nature and others. We can host group meetings for yoga and nature trails and awareness for child groups and families. We also hold our own Focusing seminars (self emotional development) There are no televisions here, we promote social development, reading and relaxing under the trees, we only have wifi.

We have an amazing central position nestled between SanMartino sul Fiora and near to Poggio Murella, white gravel road and the Terme of Saturnia Hot springs. The amazing Etruscan towns of Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano are only 15 mins, Manciano for a visit to the castle and shopping in supermarkets. We are 50 mins from the coast with several unspoilt locations in Capalbio and many natural parks like Uccellina Parco della Maremma and the famous Tarrocchi sculpture Park with amazing sculptures by Nikki Sanphalle. Our main city Grosseto, is a medeival walled city and 60 mins drive away with Market day on Thursdays and we have Orvieto an hours drive, Lake Bolsena and the Val d'Orcia so there is plenty to get on with while enjoying a holiday here in Maremma. We are 1.5 hours from Rome and airports and 2 hours to Pisa and 3hrs to Florence. There are many Restaurants, winebars and vinyards to visit all in a short distance and from spring there are also many local village festivals. Enjoy!
