Al Mercato is a family-run B&B in Siena's historic centre, overlooking the Torre del Mangia tower. It offers rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and has a restaurant serving local dishes on the ground floor. Offering free WiFi, rooms here are air conditioned and feature a minibar and flat-screen TV. The B&B also features an apartment, located nearby. Al Mercato B&B is set in a historic 12th-century building. EUGENIO: This used to be the house of my grandmother and it was transformed in a Bed&Breakfast between 2008 and 2009. The building is of the XII century. We rennovated the interiors in the respect of the old building, trying not to change the spaces but only adapt them to our needs. The result is that each room is particular and unique!

We are in the back of the Piazza il Campo, where twice a year is helded the famous horse race IL PALIO. In this square is also concentrated the life of the city. You can walk everywhere during day and during night because Siena is quiet and safe.
