Restored with dedication in 2003, it retains its original charm through the use of authentic materials, among which the river stone bearing walls stand out. The four-meter-high ceilings with wooden beams and clay bricks, and the handmade clay tile floors, some of which are original, bear witness to an era when time seemed to have stopped. Inside, the country house reveals its historical richness through a spacious kitchen-dining room with a fireplace, thick stone walls, and a well-equipped masonry kitchenette. It is equipped with every modern comfort, including TV, washing machine, coffee machine, DVD and CD player, and a stereo system. The bedrooms, furnished with taste and elegance in the ancient Arte Povera style and equipped with wrought iron beds, offer an undeniably precious rest, while the screened windows provide enchanting views of the swimming pool and the surrounding hills. Outside, the 10,000 m² of land are divided between a lush garden with lawn and a larger area dedicated to olive groves, oaks, cypresses, and native bushes. The pool, equipped with sunbeds, umbrella, and shower, offers a breathtaking view of the hills. An ancient stone fountain and an outdoor wood oven with barbecue enrich the garden, inviting to convivial evenings outdoors.
