Our property is in the woods of Maremma but only about 250mt from the main road, very peaceful indeed. A car is a MUST since you will not be able to reach this property very easily without one. The property is part of a house which is lived in but completely separate with its own entrance. The garden is large with many trees typical of the Tuscan countryside like Olives and fruit trees. The closest main town is Massa Marittima which is a beautiful medieval town with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and more and it is only 10 min drive. The area is great for cycling but demanding. It is the ideal place to to explore cities like Siena (1.15hrs away), Volterra and S.Gimignano similar distance, or even Florence which is further away. Here you can go for lovely hikes in the nearby hills. The sea is not far, Follonica is about 25/30 minutes drive.
We are looking forward to welcome you in our property. We enjoy outside life and the nature which is absolutely unspoiled.
Massa Marittima is very close and extremely pretty, plenty of places to have something to eat or drink. Downhill mountain biking is really strong here. It is worth to visit the museum of the miniera which will explain about the area’s past as a mining centre in Tuscany.
