The facility is located inside a former convent from the 1800s, fully renovated in 2015. The room we provide is on Via Irnerio and is on the ground floor, in close proximity to both the Botanical Garden of Bologna and the University Pole. This is to emphasize the tranquility of the location while being located in the very center of Bologna. Piazza Maggiore, on the other hand, which is the main square, is 800 meters away and is easily reached on foot while also enjoying the beautiful view of Bologna's porticoes. The room is equipped with every comfort, with a private bathroom. The apartment is inhabited by the owner who shares with the guests only the corridor passage. What you will find is a great welcome in a pleasant setting for a stay dedicated to discovering the learned and fat Bologna.
The Dorothy Home is located in Via Irnerio 38. Its history is undoubtedly linked to its past since the 1800.
The University of Bologna, the Botanical Gardens, the National Art Gallery of Bologna (la pinacoteca), the Museum of Mineralogy and Palazzo Poggi, all only a stone's throw away from the apartment, contribute to the cultural atmosphere of the area. The Jazz clubs, cinema and bars on Via Mascarella make the nightlife enjoyable to anybody looking for a good night out on the town. On the same road that of the building is situated on you will find at your disposition a number of different buses, making it a useful location for reaching the Fiera of Bologna, FICO and all other destinations inside the city. In the immediate vicinity you will find a cheap self-service laundrette equipped with dryers, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants and street food places open into the early hours of the morning.
