Casa Pilari, is a finely renovated modern-style vacation home. It is located on the historic street of the ancient potters, next to the ancient walls and a short walk from the main street of the town. Casa Pilari is the perfect choice for a relaxing stay in the charming Tuscia viterbese. The proximity to the ancient washhouse and the workshop of the terracotta craftsman also allows guests to take a fascinating journey into the past.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of experiencing authentic Italian hospitality, from north to south. From each host I have met I have learned something. With pleasure I now share this experience with my guests at Casa Pilari.
It is the neighborhood of the ancient potters, the pilari. This is where the workshops and kilns carved out of caves dug into the tuff were active and can still be seen and appreciated. The last furnace called “di Checco Lallo” is still active and is next to Casa Pilari.
