Casa Sole e Luna, located on the central Via Umberto I, is an old house, renovated and available for those seeking quiet, relaxing moments. The house is on the mezzanine floor (first floor) and includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room/TV room, and a large entrance hall. (The entrance hall is used as a reception area. Please note that the bathroom is not en suite like in typical B&Bs; to access the bathroom and kitchen, you must cross a shared area. However, the kitchen and bathroom are private.) The upper floor (second floor), accessed from the entrance hall via a staircase, includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and terrace. All bedrooms have air conditioning, the bathrooms have washing machines, and the kitchens are fully equipped. Breakfast is included with your stay and is served in the kitchen. It includes all individually packaged products: croissants, plum cakes, tarts, yogurt or fruit juices, toast, jams, crackers, milk, tea, coffee, and water. The station is 4 kilometers away by bus and well connected to the main bus stop next to the hydrofoil ticket office. Direct buses to Catania Airport also depart from the port.
