The City Guest House features 11 rooms each with air conditioning, flat screen TV, wireless internet and private bathrooms. Most rooms have a private balcony. We are proud of what we have achieved so far but always thinking of ways to improve, driven by passion as much as the need to build a sustainable business. We’re very interested in design, as well as in food and overall travel experience. Our goal is to create a unique experience by making sure that the small details work as much as the big picture. City Guest House also represents the great #foodie experience of Accasadì restuarant and Convivio Bistro (opened in 2020 replacing the reception), which have been serving locals and our guests for over 10 years. More importantly, it reflect traveller’s changing needs and expectations as they visit new places and experience new cultures.

Slap, bang in the middle of... the genuine Roman lifestyle There are two Romes. What you see in the guide books – going back centuries – and the modern capital of Italy, where people live their lives day in day out. Both have a lot to offer. If you think about it, it’s not such a bad idea to have your base where your typical Roman family lives. You will get to see the complete picture and experience Rome as a local. The City Guest House is located in a southeastern area of Rome called Numidio Quadrato, a name you may have recongised on the Metro A map if you’ve already visited Rome. There are plenty of interesting things to see in the area too, including the Parco degli Acquedotti where you can find and Cinecittà, where many movies are still being produced. The 1951 classic Ben Hur was shot there. More recently, Gangs of New York and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou where shot here.
