I am a mother of three daughters and I try to conjugate my work with the activities of my family. When you'll stay at La Gaura might know my mother Laura, fantastic cook specializes in preparing your breakfast, my father Aldo refined connoisseur of wines and my sister Ilaria the most polyglot of the group and a great connoisseur of ancient Rome.

Property information

The Gaura Country House was born like a private villa in the 60s. My family bought it in 1980 and in recent years we have transformed into a luxury bed and breakfast providing it with every comfort in an attempt to offer the services of a luxury hotel in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Neighbourhood information

The idea of Casal Palocco urbanized born from the thirties and forties, a noble effort to create an area in the south of the project Roma. It is processed in 1958 and implemented starting in 1961. The first villas built in effects after World War II, it was a bold realization of seismic systems, grandiose homes, luxurious, never excessive. Casal Palocco is equipped with various sports and shopping centers; main feature is the abundant and well-kept vegetation that adorns the streets. By choosing to stay at La Gaura is possible to combine visits to historical and architectural beauties of a city like Rome, to the pleasure of enjoying some pleasant hours in the pool or alternating visits to the eternal city activities such as cycling, jogging, golf, tennis, horseback riding or visits to archaeological sites such as Ostia Antica, the port of Trajan, or take a break immersing in the sea of Ostia.
