Ideal both for business and leisure travellers, the Hermitage lies just 18 km from the artistic treasures of Florence and 6 km from Prato. The industrial district of Macrolotto is 3 km away. Moreover, it lies within short driving distance from Carmignano, the medieval village of Artimino and some of the best wineries and olive oil producers in the Montalbano region. The Hermitage hotel is located in Poggio a Caiano, in a quiet residential area, on a panoramic hill, close to the beautiful 15th-century Villa Medicea Ambra, erected by order of Lorenzo the Magnificent.
