The villa is situated in the medieval village of Castello and spreads over 500 m2 in a versatile layout. It offers 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, a library, a living room with fire place and several outdoor hideaways. The villa is south-facing with breathtaking views over lake Lugano. It can be reached via a short walk from the free car park at the entrance of the village. If you seek a unique and peaceful oasis to contemplate, hike, swim and enjoy the Dolce Vita, it is the place for you.
We like to offer our guests a home away from home
Situated only 10 km from Lugano in a landscape conservation area, Castello di Valsolda is a pedestrian-only historic village where time seems to stand still. Enchanting and quaint, Castello is famous for its stunning baroque church, romantic winding alleyways and the museum Pagani dedicated to one of the region’s most celebrated painters. Numerous hiking and biking trails start from the village and refreshing natural pools as well as the lake of Lugano invite for a swim, all within walking distance from the villa. Free car park at the entrance of the village. 10 km to Lugano, 10 km to Porlezza (supermarkets), 25 km to Menaggio, 40 km to Como, 90 km to Malpensa airport (Milano).
