Property information

The house is on two floors. The upper has a beautiful chestnut beam roof and terracotta floors. There is a spacious balcony with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains including Monte Iseo which rises up 400m from the middle of the lake. It is an ideal place for an aperitif and / or eating outside. There is a toilet and shower upstairs as well as a washing machine. The kitchen has a dishwasher and plenty of space. The downstairs bedroom gives onto the garden and private parking. There is a second bathroom with a tub and a small private garden. The gentle summer breeze that comes down from the mountains takes the edge off the summer heat and the area is quiet at night for a restful sleep.

Neighbourhood information

The house overlooks Lake Iseo and the spectacular Monte Isola. It is on the Valeriana Roman Hiking Path that used to connect Iseo to Valcamonica. From the doorstep it is easy to explore the surrounding hills and lakeside towns. The centre of Sulzano and the train station are only 800m (100m vertically) away down a small hill lane. It is conveniently located 1km from the main highway which gives access to the mountains. Valcamonica and the Franciacorta wine area which is 8km away and offers great wine and bike tours. Just down the road is a swimming pool that looks over the lake. There is also a spectacular waterfall and secret cave at the bottom of the valley near the entrance to the village.
