I am convinced that working in the hospitality sector means having a curiosity to learn, through the mixing of different peoples and cultures in the construction of varied interpersonal connections. I would like my guests to feel welcomed in the best possible way within my structure and that a real exchange of habits and customs can take place. Furthermore, I believe that communication is fundamental, therefore I am absolutely open to the possibility on the part of of my guests to suggest improvements that are aimed at the growth of my structure, and above all in favor of personal empathetic enrichment. My goal is to allow my guests to discover a unique territory like Sicily, in maximum serenity and safety. I have always imagined that knowledge of various cultures increases one's own; for this reason I decided to put my knowledge of the area at the service of guests, in order to raise awareness of the cultural, landscape, as well as culinary beauties of my land.

"La Dimora degli Scrittori" aims to be a classy, characteristic and original environment. We chose this name to highlight the importance that some local authors have had in the history of Italian literature and their connection with the Sicilian land. Our main objective is to welcome our guests with typical Sicilian warmth and, in the meantime, to celebrate through memory some of the most influential Sicilian artists active between the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. La Dimora degli Scrittori is located in the historic center of Giarre, a few meters from Piazza Duomo and the Church of Sant'Isidoro Agricola, an imposing neoclassical building.
The town is located in a strategic position, halfway between Taormina and Catania, on the eastern side of Etna. The central square of the city offers a wide view of Etna, with its snow-capped peaks, and is flanked by Corso Italia, whose horizon is dominated by the sea. The city, therefore, is considered a meeting point for those who want to get involved with excursions to discover Etna, generally made possible up to the summit craters, alongside expert guides. Furthermore, without straying too far from the area, we highly recommend visiting Syracuse and the island of Ortigia, and Noto, "capital of the Baroque". A must for every tourist who intends to visit the eastern coast of Sicily is Taormina, worthy mistress of the nickname "Pearl of the Ionian", with its Greek Theater and the fascinating Isola Bella, with nearby Castelmola, considered one of the most beautiful places in Italy, with a breathtaking view. Another experience worth visiting is the Alcantara Gorges village of Savoca,where some scenes of the famous saga "The Godfather" were filmed. Moving away from the Tyrrhenian side of the Sicilian coast, the trip to the Aeolian Islands allows you to visit Lipari, with its Archaeological Museum, and Vulcano, famous for its volcanic mud used in the treatment of rheumatic conditions. If you are an architecture enthusiast, you will be fascinated by Catania, rich in historical monuments, ancient churches and noble palaces. The neighboring towns that deserve to be visited are: Acireale, Aci Castello, Aci Trezza, Motta Sant'Anastasia, Bronte, Augusta, Zafferana Etnea, Vizzini, Caltagirone.
