My name is Papiriana, I am a house located in the ancient medieval village of Fosdinovo, one of the most beautiful in Upper Tuscany. I am very near to the famous “Castello Malaspina”. I have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 living room with a comfortable sofa bed facing a large pellet stove. I develop on two levels connected by an internal staircase. An ancient and modern atmosphere coexist in me: wi fi, vaulted ceilings of ancient stone, a beautiful Jacuzzi, a warm fire for the winter given off by a pellet stove capable of heating the house through a ventilation system and finally a terrace with an unmissable view of the splendid valley of the Magra River from which to admire the sea and thank Mother Nature. I love humans of all races and nationalities and animal friends that I welcome with soft blankets and welcome biscuits! My distance from the sea and the mountain is the same 14 km : in half hour you'll arrive on the beach of Marinella di Sarzana or Fiumaretta, and with the same time you'll be over 1200 mt in the Alpi Apuane! you can choose sea or mountain at the same time!!!!

I am a lucky to own such a beautiful home. The houses speak and convey the spirit of those who lived them. And the spirit of Papiriana transmits serenity, love for Nature and for Beauty. Fosdinovo is an ancient medieval village that belongs to the Lunigiana area, located in the Val di Magra basin. The Malaspina castle, a fortress built in the 12th century, dominates the village and gives it a fairytale look. You can breathe its ancient history, crossing the stone alleys and admiring important monuments such as the oratory of the Bianchi and the church of S. Remigio. It is said that the Supreme Poet, Dante Alighieri, stayed in this magnificent place. The village of Fosdinovo is a border place between Tuscany and Liguria suspended between the breezes coming from the sea and the winds that blow from the Apuan Alps. The village, albeit small, is equipped with many services that you will find within a radius of a few hundred meters: post offices, ATMs, grocery stores, gift shops, restaurants with take-away service, tobacconists, newsagents and pharmacies.
