Company information

We fell in love with the Ligurian coast the first time we visited and Portovenere is just a jewel. We find it much more livable than the Cinque Terre towns. We are based in Florence but have a local hospitality manager to help out if needed but you can always reach us directly.

Property information

CaseMaggi Sea View Terrace is a Palmaria Island tropical inspired one bedroom, one Murphy bed (living room), two bathroom sea-view apartment with endless views of the Golfo dei Poeti, Palmaria Island and the Tuscan coastline. It has a wrap around terrace with the most incredible views of the bay and beautiful sunrises. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well.

Neighbourhood information

The apartment is in a building with other apartments that are holiday rentals so its a lively environment. In high season, there is a bus that goes around the town, Girobus, that stops just past the building and takes you down to the town center. You buy tickets directly on the bus. The building in on Via Garibaldi up high so the views are incredible and its less noisy as its not right on the beaches. There are 60 steps to reach the building entrance from the street. There is no elevator. Portovenere, like the Cinque Terre, is a cliff side small town and parking, especially in high season, is very difficult. It is recommended to come by train to La Spezia and take a taxi to Portovenere. If you must come by car, better to drop the luggage at the apartment and then go look for parking.
