It is, in short, an ideal location to make the most of your Amalfi Coast trip. If you're coming by car it's a 15 mins drive to Amalfi where you can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. Coming by car will be the ideal way to fully explore the coast, but if you decide to walk or rely on public transportation there are several busses that will lead you to Amalfi.
