The apartment is in a very ancient stone house in the middle of the old town of Palombara Sabina, near the Savelli Castle. Totally exquisitely refurbished inside, we have kept the old chimney and given the home a very relaxing look between modern and old. The view from its balcony is quite exceptional, overlooking the old roofs and the Sabina country side. lot's of light floods the apartment. A perfect spot for 2 or 4 people that want to relax, plunge into nature, but also go to Rome, see Tivoli, and splash about in the wonderful Terme Sabine Pools. Parking is about a 3 minute walk away from the apartment.
I am the host of Il Ciliegio holiday Home since 5 years and I love it. Now my husband and I are starting this new adventure with Vicolo Savelli. I am a musician, singer songwriter coming from a mixed family of a German mother and a Sicilian American father. I therefore speak fluently multiple languages and love to create very relaxing atmospheres for travellers around the world. With modern life being so chaotic sometimes, I feel useful and am on a mission to host my homes for relaxed but fun holidays.
The ancient town of Palombara is nestled between the beautiful Sabina hills and Mountain Gennaro. Walks on foot or with mountain bikes will surprise you with marvellous views. little towns will pop up once in a while. There you can find restaurants and coffee shops where you can eat real Italian food. In the summer the Cretone pools will refresh you with their thermal, highly purifying waters. All our guests have special discounts to the pools. Palombara Sabina is not far from the city of Rome and the city of Tivoli. A plunge into history with their beautiful sites, museums and villas.
