Villa Kiara is located in Albisano, a charming village overlooking Lake Garda just a five-minute drive from lake shore and the towns of Garda and Torri del Benaco. Its unique position – off the beaten track but just a stone’s throw from the main roads to destinations on Lake Garda and Monte Baldo – makes it not only the perfect viewpoint from which to admire the lake, but also the perfect base for cycling, horse riding and hiking. In Albisano, whichever way you turn you can see the blue waters of the lake. Villa Kiara is composed of three units: one where the owner lives all year round and two that are let out to tourists. Each unit is completely independent, with a private garden, and comprises a comfortably sized living area with a furnished kitchen, an ample roofed patio with lake views, two bedrooms and a windowed bathroom. Guests can also use the private car-parking spaces and the sundeck overlooking the lake complete with sunbeds and jacuzzi.

When I was young, I spent 10 years in the world of high-end catering and hospitality, working in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Scotland and England. ‘Villa Kiara’ is the result of my wish to create an informal, comfortable and cosy place where guests can feel as if they were home!! Albisano is a small village in the municipality of Torri del Benaco, connected to the town by a handy shuttle bus. It’s the perfect place for anyone who’s looking to get away from the bustle of the city or the stresses of daily life. From here, you can explore the natural and architectural beauties of Torri del Benaco, with its medieval castle, as well as the sun-kissed beaches at Garda and Bardolino, the water Park Caneva World and the famous Gardaland amusement park to the south; heading north you can admire the well-preserved medieval villages in the municipalities of Brenzone and San Zeno di Montagna, or visit Malcesine with its stunning 360°-view cableway which carries visitors up to the peaks of Monte Baldo, famed as the “Garden of Europe”. There are also many attractions in the immediate vicinity of Villa Kiara, including a horse-riding centre and the golf course at Marciaga. It’s also quick and easy to cross Lake Garda – the ferry from Torri del Benaco to Toscolano Maderno takes about 40 minutes. The western shores of the lake also offer a wealth of history and natural wonders, and the historic cities of Verona and Mantua can be reached in less than an hour by car.
