Hachinohe Guest House TOSENOIE is a private, traditional Japanese house renovated from the home of the owner’s great-grandmother. Located in the quiet Fukiage/Kajicho district, only steps from Hachinohe city center, it is the ideal base to explore Northern Japan and the Tohoku region. Guests can enjoy walking to the lively Yokocho bar alleys, Shinra Shrine, local markets, and traditional public baths. TOSENOIE offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also the chance to experience authentic local life and culture in Hachinohe.
Your host, Minori Suzuki, is from Aomori Prefecture and has international experience in Italy and the USA. She returned to Hachinohe in 2022 to renovate her great-grandmother’s home into Tosenoie and to run a local café. She has traveled to 46 prefectures in Japan and 23 countries worldwide, and enjoys sharing culture, food, and connections with her guests.
