The Bears house is the most unique accommodation Furano has to offer, a fully restored EZO style period home blending modern facilities with true old world Japanese architecture and rustic charm!
Sleeping 8-10 people your own group is guaranteed the time of your life in this secret valley, stunning Island hideaway, privacy assured.
All whilst being just a stones throw to all the fantastic attractions the valley of Furano has to offer, for winter and summer activities.
It has been fully modernized with double glazing and new kitchen, bathrooms and facilities all round.
A great place to recharge the batteries, set amongst organic farms and trees backdrop with a stunning stream, with the most rare of Hokkaido trout and other variety available.
Whether winter skiing/riding/cross country or snowshoeing or summer fishing/ mountain biking/ horse riding/hiking or just relaxing in the hammock on the BBQ Deck the place is suitable for all wishing to explore the Furano region without being caught in the massive rush of tourists staying in the maddening crowds.
And to top off all this beauty and privacy, just 100m from the door of the Bears House, is a booking only restaurant, (positioned to maintain absolute privacy from the home) meaning that whilst you may self cater, you also may dine a variety of Japanese and western/ mediteranian / asian cuisine.
Those wishing to experience an intimate and relaxed stay close to but separated from nature are encouraged to stay.
There are no clinical modern Japanese lines here, the place is closest to a temple in its architectural significance, traditional rounded edges and timber beams of an orient era bygone are what makes the place both luxurious and comfortable beyond its contemporary counterparts.
For winter guests, 20 mins Furano, 50 mins Tomamu, 70 mins Sahoro, Kamui 80mins, Tokachidake 45mins, Asahidake1.5hrs.
