We have completely renovated an old house build in 1941. Our guesthouse is a house for rent for the family or group. If you come with children, you can negotiate the number of visitors. It's very quiet place and you can enjoy Kyoto's good old days. There is a low table and display shelf with Maki-e (Japanese lacquer) in living room and you can relax very well with paper lanterns. From veranda you can see Daimonji.
I can speak English and French. I have national guide license (French). I like birdwatching. Especially Kyotogosho is one of migratory birds hotspots for spring. I can guide you every morning between April and May.
We have a good food and store map. There are lot of restaurant near our guesthouse. We recommend a picnic in Kamo river where Cherry blossoms are blooming. We can offer a picnic set.
