JR Kagoshima Train Station is a 5-minute drive away. The building has been renovated with earthquake-proof construction and reopened in August, 2014. Japanese-style rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. All rooms include air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a fridge. The en suite bathroom comes with a bathtub and toilet. Nakahara Bessou Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Terukuni Shrine and a 5-minute drive from Shiroyama Park. Kagoshima Airport is a 50-minute drive away. Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and guests can relax with views of the traditional garden. Due to plumbing renovations, the public hot-spring bath at the facility will be under construction between 22 June 2020 and 19 July 2020. Reheated water will be used during this time.

The public hot-spring bath is available between 17:00 and 22:30 and between 06:00 and 09:00.

Breakfast: 07:00-09:00 (last order is at 08:30)

Dinner: 18:00-21:30 (last order is at 20:00)

Designated smoking area is located on the ground floor and all other areas of the property is non-smoking.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

Guests must check in by 20:00:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.
