Thangtong House Japan opened in March 2019. (New listings on Booking .com began in May 2021) It is a discerning full-scale log house rental villa by the owner who returned from Europe. We operate it wholeheartedly with the desire to provide a healing space where guests can refresh their minds and bodies while looking at Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site. We hope you enjoy your stay at Thangtong House Japan.

Property information

[Minami Hakone / Atami / Izu] Private rental villa 2 hours from the city center. Minami Hakone is located at the entrance of Izu, which is known for its rich nature. This cozy log house is located in the resort area south of Hakone near the famous Hot Spring site Atami, at the entrance to Izu Peninsula. You can enjoy the beautiful views of the World Heritage site, Mt Fuji, the mountains of the Southern Alps, and Suruga Bay on the Pacific coast. It is guaranteed that you will enjoy your time- tranquility surrounded nature. A healing journey that resets your mind while playing the grand piano and enjoying an elegant and luxurious day. We have carefully selected equipment such as antique furniture and special tableware. Our accommodation is best location as a base for your trip to visit tourist attractions such as in Hakone, Atami and Izu. You can also stay relaxed in the natural surroundings away from the city life.

Neighbourhood information

You can visit Atami in the east, Mishima / Numazu in the west, Shuzenji / Izu in the south, and Hakone / Mt. Fuji in the north. It is good to stay as an extension of your daily life, such as taking a walk in the neighborhood or visiting local shops and hot springs, during a medium- to long-term stay like a villa, and it is also suitable to go sightseeing in various directions.
