Property information

On a property featuring a traditional Japanese house, expansive gardens, vegetable plots and fruit trees, and a chicken coop, you can enjoy the timeless way of life of old Japan and an extraordinary island pace. We have renovated a historic manor that contributed to the community’s development through traditional soy sauce making, adding modern comforts. Please lose track of time at the self-service bar, exclusive to guests, set within a 150-year-old storehouse. *Highlights of the villa* 1. Experience the everyday rhythms of island life (which will surely feel special to you). 2. We offer a range of options unique to a locally rooted travel company (private tours, private chef services, and more).

Neighbourhood information

The surrounding area is a quiet residential neighborhood. We are located in an area known as “Hishio-no-Sato,” lined with soy sauce breweries. During the daytime when soy sauce is being made, the aroma may drift through the air depending on the wind. In the mornings and evenings, only birdsong and the chirping of insects can be heard. Please take your time and enjoy island time.
