「I chose this guesthouse because it was a little outside the Main Street where you can have some musics. So it was nice
Very simple room, but everything was great.」

The rooms are cool and well ventilated with a ceiling fan and windows on opposing walls. A cold water bathroom is attached to each room. Even if located to the side of the village the beach and many restaurants and bars are close by. Feel free to hang out in our garden.
We are a Khmer German family. We have a small boy and a newborn baby girl and you will likely see both discovering the world. My wife's family has been living on the island since more than twenty years and they are our neighbors.
You can reach the whole village by foot as it is quite small. There are many restaurants and quite a few bars to socialize, apart from that there are some mini markets and a pharmacy. If you want to visit other beaches you'd need a boat because the infrastructure is still very basic with only one road cemented in the village. We strongly advise taking a torch with you if you are out after sunset as there are no street lights.
(the pharmacy closed down during the pandemic, so maybe check that you have the medicine you need. Also not all bars and restaurants are running at the moment)
