The weather in Arugam Bay is mostly sunny all year round , making the place exceptionally conducive to a beach holiday all year round. If you are planning to visit Arugam Bay just for surfing and fun, the waves are at their peak during the months of April to September , attracting surfers from all over the world. From October to March, the beaches are less crowded and the waves are smaller, making it a good time to learn to surf and relax during the off-season .
