This peaceful holiday home is in Vaide - a tiny quiet village in the woods of Slītere National Park. Secluded beach with super fine white sand is only 7 minutes walking distance. The house has 2 floors. There is a terrace on each floor. Ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and also a spacious sauna, shower and a toilet. The second floor has a queen size double bed and a work desk. There is a sleeping sofa both downstairs in the kitchen and on the 2nd floor.

We are couple from Latvia (age ~60) , we are living close to nature and sea most of our lives and are happy to welcome guests starting this year. With regards, Erika We the hosts live in a dwelling house that is 150 meters away from the holiday home so if there is a need we are close by and available if any issues come up.

The property is located in Slitere national park in a tiny village called Vaide. This is a very quiet place surrounded only by bird songs, sound of the wind in the trees and the sound of waves from the sea. There are lot of scenic hiking paths along the secluded beach and through the woods in the area. The beach is about 7min walk from the house. There is also a beautiful little lake about 10 minutes walking distance- its possible to fish there from the shore. Village of Kolka is 10 minutes drive in one direction, Mazirbe village is 10 minutes drive the other direction. Closest grocery stores are in these villages. There are also couple of cafes & restaurants in Kolka/Mazirbe. Cape of Kolka is worth a visit as 2 different seas meet there - the Gulf of Riga and The open Baltic Sea. It is truly a unique sight when waves of the two seas are going in two different directions meeting and clashing into each other in the middle of the water. Cape of Kolka is also a great location for bird watching in the fall.
