My gallery location is outside Amsterdam in scenic 's-Graveland known for botanical parks and gardens. Springtime the park rhododendron and azalea valley blooms under a canopy of 100+ varieties of tree species. Across from the gallery is the unique Park Gooilust, renowned for the tree variety and the 200-year botanical garden. ‘s-Graveland has a fascinating historical background of the illustrious previous owners, in fact, the village name itself ‘s-Graveland, translates to the land of Dukes and Duchess.

Three botanical gardens are within walking distances; number one is Gooilust Siertuin with a 200-year history; then there is Costerus a year-round botanical garden. Third stop you can explore the huge variety of evergreens found in Hilversum’s Pinetum Blijdenstein botanical garden. Park Gooilust impresses visitors by the huge stately Beech trees, you are impressed by the stately Beech tree which canopy azaleas’ and rhododendrons in the thousands.
