The house is located in a quiet location with the closest neighbor living about 100 meters away. It has a beautiful view of Vestvågøy municipality's highest mountain, Himmeltinden ("The Sky Peak") and Ostadvannet (Ostad lake). Behind the house there is a gravel road leading towards some of the mountains. A beautiful path for a morning walk. You will often be able to see wild animals like moose and foxes on the property. The house is located in the middle of Lofoten, so almost any place in Lofoten is reachable within a 1 hour drive. Places like Lofotr Viking Museum and Unstad Surf, and Haukland beach are only 5-15 minutes away by car.

This is an old and quiet neighborhood, which was established because of the fertile farmland here. The hosts grew up in this area, like their parents before them. Nowadays, a lot less people work with farming, but the fields are still being taken care of by the farmers that still exist. Within a 5 minute walk you will find a bus stop at the main road E10. Within a 30 minute walk you will find a Spar store, Lofotr Viking Museum and a fitness center.
