Majorstuen is known for being a luxurious neighborhood with particularly many classic and historic buildings. In the neighborhood there are many charming restaurants, bars, cafes and the like. Bogstadveien is one of the most famous streets in Majorstuen where there are a number of shopping opportunities. There are many green areas at Majorstuen, and Frognerparken is perhaps Norway's most famous park with famous sculptures and large green areas.
