You will stay very close to the Madonna trail, which leads to the statue of Madonna, located 1020 meters above sea level. On the edge of Trillemarka Nature Park, Madonna and Child overlooks beautiful mountain areas with Gaustatoppen to the west and Norefjell and Eggedalsfjellet to the north. Trillemarka is the largest forest reserve in Norway. The house is a perfect starting point for trips to the mountains both in summer and winter.
