Company information
Villa Fjellheim was originally built in 1954 as a boarding house named Nigardsbreen Gjesteheim. It has a rich history of welcoming guests to the Jostedalen region since the midcentury.
In 2021, the property was acquired by Janniche and Ole Øyen, who have since undertaken extensive renovations to transform it into a beautiful villa tailored for tourist groups and skiers, both in summer and winter.
The Øyens have honored the property's legacy by restoring its original name, "Fjellheim," reflecting their deep appreciation for its history and significance in the local community. Their dedication ensures that guests experience both the charm of the past and the comforts of modern amenities during their stay.
Though your stay at Villa Fjellheim is self-service, the host will be available in the villa, and you will meet her when you arrive and when you leave. For safety reasons she will also stay in the villa during night.
