Two level 1 bdrm apt. Peaceful, private with stunning environs and mountain views this artsy eclectic apt and wooded estate, 12 minutes drive from central Queenstown, never fails to delight. Walking trails and lake are closeby. Perfect for couples, hikers and romantic nature lovers.
A retired physiotherapist, fortunate to spend time caring for others and the property since 1971. Im active and love being surrounded by nature. I enjoy sharing my beautiful environs with others and delight in seeing their enthusiasm for what there is to enjoy both on the property and in the area. Every guests stay is important to me and i try to to make it a memorable experience. I have 3 married sons, and three granddaughters who return often
The host, being a longtime local resident (40 + years), is very familiar with the area, its people, restaurants, cafes, and adventures to be pursued is available to assist guests.
Being close to busy Queenstown makes this property unique. The property of Punatapu offers its guests wildlife, birdsong, privacy and peace in a stunning mountain location that is not available in the township. Both international and locals reside in homes tucked away in the surrounding bush also known as Bob's Cove.
Driving to Queenstown Arrowtown and Glenorchy is easy and the scenery is dramatic .
You will need your own or a rental vehicle unless you opt for a personal driver or taxi as there is no regular public transportation.Taxis are expensive. Rental cars are plentiful but do need to be booked well in advance for peak periods i.e Christmas.
Glenorchy based tourism adventure providers will pick from the front gate or at the main courtyard.
