Starting life in the 1920’s as the townships original laundromat,‘Beach Folly’ is a delightful cottage that has been restored into a quaint and romantic space.
Nestled in the heart of Whitianga, the interior has been simply yet tastefully decorated to give you that light, breezy, relaxed holiday feel. Special thought has been put into delivering a comfortable home away from home, with quality Egyptian cotton bedding on the queen bed, and soft nautical furnishing in the separate lounge.
Mornings can be spent sharing a breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen with the sun beaming through the French Doors and then
Finish your day by soaking up the last of the evening sun while enjoying a glass of wine in the private sheltered courtyard surrounded by beautiful greenery, passionfruit, and grape vines.
We love that you have chosen to visit our charming little cottage, Beach Folly. Originally from South Auckland, we now enjoy the lifestyle we have here in Whitianga with stunning beaches, walking tracks, fishing, kayaking and golf. We hope you too enjoy all that the local area has to offer, and find peace and relaxation staying at Beach Folly.
A stay at ‘Beach Folly’ will give you the best of both worlds, you will feel immersed in the peaceful energy of the cottage, all while having local restaurants, cafes, movies, Geo-thermal hot pools, and resort shopping right at your doorstep. If cooking is your thing, the local supermarket is a two-minute walk away and you are only short stroll to the beach, making this the perfect holiday spot. You can also plan your 30 minute car trip to Hot water Beach and Cathedral Cove, or perhaps you might decide on an indulgent breakfast at one of the many cafes or restaurants, all within close walking distance.
