Perfect for couples or solo travellers, the cottage features a queen bedroom, bathroom, lounge with heat pump, and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Guests enjoy private access, a fully fenced rear patio, and one off-street parking space (plus ample roadside parking if needed). Please note: the main house is rented separately and shares the driveway. Whether you're here for alpine adventures at Mt Hutt, a relaxing soak at Opuke Thermal Pools, or to explore nearby walking tracks, Forest Cottage makes the perfect base. Methven is a picturesque alpine town offering skiing, hiking, biking, and local charm — all within walking distance once you're here. While rental cars are limited, everything in town is easily accessible, and the Ski Bus offers return trips to Mt Hutt during the season. A locally based manager is available for any questions during your stay. Please note the property is not fully fenced, so pets will require supervision.
