We are located on the shores of Lake Tekapo with the Lake being only a short walk from your accommodation. Tekapo is a good location to stop on the way to Wanaka, Queenstown, Mt Cook or further down south. Here at Lake Tekapo Holiday Park we are a central location in Tekapo with only a few minutes walk to Tekapo Springs and the Mt John walkways, as well as ten minutes walk to the village. We have uninterrupted views of the stunning night, sky as light pollution is low and our lake/mountain views are some of the best in town.

We are in a sheltered basin in the Mackenzie district. To the left of us we have Tekapo Springs which offer's Hot Pools, Cold Pool, Tubing, Ice Skating, Cafe and Day Spa. We also have the access for the Mt John walkways right beside us. These lead you to the Observatory and Cafe at the top with spectacular 360 degree views of the region. Just below the camp is stunning Lake Tekapo which you can admire from your accommodation. Just a short 10 minute walk to the village or 20 minute walk to the famous Church of the Good Shepard. We are in a great location for you to explore and relax in.
