Property information

Mt John Homestead is set in vast, stunning gardens, with views to Lake Tekapo, it is very peaceful and relaxing. The Homestead is your home away from home, fully self contained and has 2 open fires and 1 log burner, to keep you lovely and warm on the cooler evenings. Outside there is a lovely sheltered patio area, great for alfresco dining. The Mt John Homestead is only a 5 minute walk from the shops and only minutes from the edge of Lake Tekapo, so close and handy to everything in Lake Tekapo. You will love your stay with us, we have a farmyard next to the Homestead where you can feed and touch the animals. Please note all Weddings and Functions held at the Mt John Homestead will incur additional hire fees. Please enquire.

Check-in and key collection is between 15:00 and 17:00 at the Cairns Alpine Resort Reception, located at 48 DÁrchiac Drive, Lake Tekapo. Our office is on the right just as you drive in, next to the Go Tekapo office.

If you expect to arrive after 17:00, please contact us in advance to arrange key collection, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.

The Cairns Alpine Resort Accommodation is located at 48 DÁrchiac Drive.

The Mount John Homestead is the large white house behind the willow tree about 100 metres down the driveway on the right hand side.

Please note that this property will not be serviced for the duration of your stay.
