Your next destination for the perfect rural getaway resides in “ Ranginui “, situated just minutes from the Kaiiwi Lakes. Revel in the natural beauty of the rolling countryside, the Tasman sea on the horizon & never ending skies that the name pays tribute to. Available to view are dazzling sunrises & sunsets, in which the property provides the most inspiring locations for admiring these views. The location of Ranginui ensures the sky is free of light pollution, on a clear night you have the opportunity to experience a sea of stars in all its natural glory & appreciate the night sky as never before. Area’s to enjoy such sights include, but are not limited to ; the large expansive lawn & wraparound deck. *Please note this is a working farm & as such don’t try to interact with the livestock that are on the farm, also remember to stay in the area of the house & respect the advisory signs for your safety & comfort *
We both enjoy the warm and laid back lifestyle of Northland, Sun,Surf & sand is the most therapeutic way of unwinding from the rigours of the everyday grind. Peace , quiet & tranquility. We both want others to enjoy and be a part of what the Kaiiwi lakes & surrounding region has on offer. Least of all the people that call this part of the world home.
The Kaiiwi Lakes offer safe swimming, boating ( including sailing) , jet skiing and above all a laid back atmosphere. 10 minutes away is Omamari beach , where the art of beach combing exists along with surfing and fishing are popular activities. For those looking for a little bit of history, check out Tane Mahuta , Northlands biggest Kauri tree ( resident in the Waipoua forest ) 45 minutes drive. Stop by on the way back at the historic Kaihu tavern ( over 100 years old) for a cold drink & game of pool and a yarn with the locals.
