Ideal for a relaxing getaway for one or a couple and tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac this open plan studio is private, well equipped, and comfortable. Large bi-fold doors open onto a restful garden with places to sit in sun or shade. The outlook is to the expansive park and bush-clad Bluff hill behind. Only a few minutes walk to our stunning beach with safe swimming in the inviting, crystal clear water.
The studio is suitable for preparing simple meals. It has a microwave and fridge freezer, and a plug-in oven is available.
My studio is still a 'work in progress' so priced to suit. Your privacy is respected, and every effort is made to assure you are comfortable and enjoy a relaxing stay. I live on site, am happy to help as required, and I make every effort to ensure you have undisturbed enjoyment during your stay.  The studio is separate from, and next to my home, with a separate entry.  Guests are welcome to sit in the garden or on the deck.

Matarangi beach is stunning with white silky sand and safe swimming. With tennis courts, a handy supermarket and other shops, an 18 hole golf course, and cafe, Matarangi is centrally located for easy drives to many of the Coromandel peninsula's best attractions. 
Iconic Kuaotunu is only 5 mins drive featuring Luke's kitchen and cafe, and further on, the stunning beaches of Otama and Opito bay. 
Whitianga is just 20 minutes away with The Lost Spring hot pools and restaurants, boat hire, tours, kayaking, many dining options, lovely shops, supermarkets, and art galleries. From here you can easily drive or take a boat ride to Cathedral Cove, Hahei and Hot Water Beach. 
Coromandel town is also only a 20 minute drive and features Driving Creek Railway (12 gauge train ride with a fabulous story of how it came to be, and amazing views from the top). Loads of locally produced artworks on sale at many galleries, a supermarket, and stunning scenery.
New Chum beach is easily accessed from Whangapoua beach which is a 15 minute drive away. Visitors then cross a stream, walk round the shore and over a small headland to this remote beach with Nikau forest right down to the sand.
