A distinctive home with a charming location and a thoughtfully crafted interior atmosphere. It reflects the region's architectural traditions, blending them with the welcoming comfort of contemporary living. Set within a well-maintained garden featuring orchard elements and bordering a pleasantly murmuring creek, which is easily accessible.
When you're not visiting, we reside in this house (together with our two dogs – a potential consideration for those with allergies) and continually update it while preserving its rustic qualities, such as the fireplace, decorative kitchen stove, and wooden finishes, beams, and floors. The subtle creaking of the floor is part of the building's unique character.

We are fascinated by the surrounding area—you’ll find treasures like agates, herbs, and ceramics from here throughout the interiors. Additionally, our library holds everything from Jodorowsky’s comics to philosophy, anthropology, crime novels, and psychology. For longer evenings, we have Dixit, Magic: The Gathering, and more.
This says a bit about us. We also like to think of ourselves as people with a positive attitude toward life and others.
Nearby, you’ll find a lot of peace. Sokołowiec is in the heart of the Land of Volcanoes, known for its uniquely striking volcanic cones. The PTTK yellow trail passes through the village, and there’s something in the area for everyone:
Proboszczów
Ostrzyca: the “Silesian Fuji,” a remnant of an ancient volcano, rises to 499 meters above sea level. From the parking area, it’s about a 45-minute walk to the summit.
Sędziszowa
Wielisławskie Organs at the foot of Wielisławka Hill, and nearby Wielisław Mill, where you can enjoy a good meal.
Lubiechowa
A melaphyre quarry, where you can still find agates, amethysts, and milky quartz, famous in the area.
A trail “behind the house” winds through the forest and nearby hills, allowing you to enjoy the landscape of the Kaczawskie Foothills. The area also offers five single-track cycling trails in loop form, with dedicated parking, informational signs, and scenic viewpoints.
Dobków
Sudecka Educational Farm: A center focused on the geological and cultural heritage of the Kaczawskie region.
“Shrine Trail”: A chance to see nearly 30 historic roadside shrines and crosses, mostly from the 19th century.
Nielestno
Kayaking on the Bóbr River is a great option for active outings with children.
Pilchowice
Pilchowice Dam, the second-highest dam in Poland, and nearby, the highest railway bridge in the country, famously (and fortunately) saved from a demolition scene planned for a Tom Cruise film!
Siedlęcin
Prince’s Tower in Siedlęcin.
Lwówek Śląski
Kuźnia 1755 for excellent pizza and more!
Tarczyn
Tarczyn Terrace: Culinary surprises await! Note, however, that it’s not a typical restaurant; reservations are required.
Within a 30-minute drive, you can explore attractions in Jelenia Góra, Bolesławiec, Złotoryja, or Lwówek Śląski. In the summer, look out for events like the Polish Gold Panning Championships or the “Agate Summer Festival.”
We can offer more recommendations depending on our guest's preferences.
