WELCOME TO CASA BRAVA
As a tribute, not only to its roots, but also to those of the region where we are located, A'CASA BRAVA was created by Francisco Calheiros Gonçalves and Rute Rocha.
Part of the history of a house was recovered, the past of a family is honored and the present is exalted by opening the doors with the bravery that so characterizes the people of Santarém and Ribatejo. All elements, from construction materials to decoration, respect local traditions and defend the identity of this destination.
Enjoy the privileged location in the center of Santarém.
Enjoy the uniqueness of a house with more than a century of history and which saw the birth of 3 generations.
Get involved in a modern and renewed concept that does not renounce the identity of the region where it is located.
Take it when we tell you that, for short or long stays, we want to be that place called home.
Stay.
Important to know before your booking:
Not advisable for people with reduced mobility, as the only access to the rooms and apartments is via stairs.
周辺エリアの情報
Santarém, a city with a vast historical heritage where religious, cultural and gastronomic traditions live. The city that Almeida Garrett called the “Book of Stone”, in Viagens na Minha Terra, rises on a plateau overlooking the river, whose banks are abundant in flavors, cultures and experiences.
We challenge you to explore the city in an inspiring way, starting with a privileged and unavoidable view over the marshes and the Tejo River through the Jardim das Portas do Sol viewpoint.
Here you will find traces of the old Moorish castle that was conquered by Dom Afonso Henriques and it is in his honor that a statue is erected in the center of the garden. Make this the starting point for discovering what is the Gothic capital city.
Walk through the old streets, mostly flat, which tell the story of a city that still preserves part of its walls and which is embellished at every corner by one of the many churches and monuments that exist here: the Torre das Cabaças, where the Núcleo Museum of Time; the Church of São João de Alporão where the Museum of Art and Archeology is located; the Church of Graça where the tomb of Pedro Álvares Cabral is located.
