The whole family welcome the guests and we usually keep in touch with them during their stay. At night it is usually to have long conversations in the lounge under the heat of the salamander or in the patio under the starry summer sky drinking a liquor or an old brandy, the house's offer. Our goal is to make you feel at home and let yourself be enveloped by history and traditions, in the comfort of rural tourism.

We are located in an interesting area because, while maintaining the tranquility of the countryside, we are close to places like Peneda Geres National Park (30 km), Braga (11 km), Guimarães (30 km), Ponte de Lima (35 km), Viana do Castelo (65Kms). Here in Amares there are the famous Caldelas Thermal Baths, the historic Roman bridge "Ponte do Porto" that crosses the Cávado River and joins Amares with Braga, the Nossa Senhora da Paz Chapel with a breathtaking view of our village, the paths of Geira. . , among others.
