The Casinha Canal is a charming, romantic old townhouse in the historic centre of Lagos (no car needed), the Algarve´s prettiest and exciting town, with the best beaches, bars, restaurants and sweet shops, within a few minutes walk. The house is on a quiet street and sports a lovely sunny roof terrace. It's perfect for couples or families of three or singles, who wish for luxury, refinement and a romantic retreat while enjoying the whole house to themselves - at the same price as a holiday apartment in town. On the ground floor, there is a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, space for a third bed if required, and a separate shower room. On the upper floor, you will find a large bedroom for two with direct access to the roof terrace, as well as a shower and a toilet. A side note about the “Centro Histórico” of Lagos: Please be aware that in the historic center of Lagos, where our holiday home is located, there has been an increase in construction and renovation activities in recent years. Consequently, there is a possibility that construction or renovation work may take place in the neighborhood, which as landlords, we cannot foresee or influence. If you highly value tranquility during your stay, we recommend considering this when choosing accommodation in the “centro histórico”. We are always committed to ensuring a pleasant and relaxing stay for you and are happy to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
We are a couple with two children (24 and 11 years old) living at the Algarve since 2021. Our favourite destination for holidays was the Algarve, back in the times when we lived in Germany, so for us, it felt natural to have a house down here. The Casinha Canal is our second house in Lagos. The first one is the Casa Amendoeira which we have since 2014. Therefore we know what our guests need to feel comfortable.
The Casinha Canal is in a quiet street of the historic town centre. You will be amazed that this is so close to the city centre, but is still peaceful and pleasant.
